Natural Dyeing for Spinners

3-Day Class:
Sunday, Sept. 3 | 1-4pm
Wednesday, Sept. 6 | 5:30-7:30pm
& Monday, Sept 11 | 5:30-7:30pm

In this workshop, we’ll be dyeing wool roving using flowers from the garden, enough for knitting swatch samples and a garden-dyed hat or cowl!

Sunday will be an afternoon of harvesting flowers and dyeing – Wednesday we’ll start spinning!

Experienced and new spinners are welcome! You just need to be comfortable spinning a continuous yarn.

Maximum number of students: 6

Students Should Bring: Starting Wednesday, bring your spinning wheel with at least 3 bobbins (not needed on the Sunday class). If you don’t want to bring your wheel, we have some available for use during class!
