Kettle Dyeing Workshop

Create your own multi-colored, hand-dyed roving using the kettle dyeing process! Students will dye approximately 6 oz. of Corriedale wool to later spin into a gorgeous variegated yarn that can be used to “self color block” in one of a kind finished projects.

We’re also offering a follow-up workshop series to this course through the Fairbanks Fiber Festival that will include 3 additional sessions for students to spin their roving, adapt a pattern for “self color blocking,” and begin knitting their project. Click here to sign up through the Folk School!
