Adopt a Sheep
Help support our sheep and other animals on the farm!
Not only are they super popular with visitors, all of our animals are an essential part of the farm's nutrient cycling and composting system. They keep the farm ecosystem balanced and healthy, and are also deeply integrated in our field trips, summer camps and other education programs. They are truly the heart of the farm!
Meet Our Sheep

Goblin (7) is a fun, easy going sheep. He likes people and also gets along with all the sheep. He’s comfortable blending in with the flock and not causing any trouble. He often grows a nice bit of fluff on top of his head!

Other Animals

Is this a real adoption? No. Think of this more as a symbolic adoption or a "sponsorSHEEP" - you are directly supporting our wooly crew and their daily needs but you don't have to get up and feed them when it's 20 below!
How do I adopt a sheep? Scroll down, choose your favorite farm animal and make a donation! Donations won't actually support one specific animal, however, if you make a donation of $300 or more we will send you a printed photo of the sheep you choose!
What does my donation support? All donations will support the animals and the place that they live. This includes things like hay, fencing, maintenance (hoof trimming, shearing), occasional vet visits and more. Collectively, the sheep and goats eat about 2 bales of hay per day which can be upwards of $15,000 per year!
Can I visit my adoptive sheep? YES! If you have the opportunity to visit the farm, we encourage you to come visit your sheep! If you choose one that's particularly friendly, you can even try to get a selfie with them!

Make a donation in support of the animals at Calypso Farm!
Calypso Farm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 92-0169368) which makes your donation tax-deductible.
If you prefer to donate offline, you can mail a check made out to Calypso Farm to: PO Box 106, Ester, AK 99725
Thank you!
